Matahio Win Kapakanan Award

We are delighted to announce that Matahio has been honoured with the "Kapakanan" Award at Philippine Coast Guard Marine Environmental Protection Command (PCG MEPCOM)’s 25th Anniversary celebrations.

The "Kapakanan" Award, meaning "Partners in Protecting the Environment," recognises the invaluable contributions of stakeholders who have passionately supported PCG MEPCOM's mission of safeguarding life at sea. Matahio was the sole recipient of this award for the upstream oil and gas sector.

This Award symbolises our commitment to environmental protection and sustainability, a key pillar in our #progressiveenergy ethos. And it celebrates our collaborations and partnerships with the local community, who have worked closely with us to ensure the wellbeing of our oceans.

The Award was presented to our team member, Clariss Layacan-Ramirez by PCG Commandant, Coast Guard Admiral Artemio M Abu, and MEPCOM Commander, Coast Guard Vice Admiral Robert N Patrimonio.
