The Puerto Princesa Special Needs Education (SNED) Programme

At Matahio, we firmly believe that great collaborations don't just drive growth; they also positively impact the communities we operate it. We are thrilled to share the next chapter of our collaboration with the Puerto Princesa Pilot Elementary School in the Philippines.

The first phase, which kicked off in 2023, saw us support the school with essential learning materials and equipment.

Now, we are focusing on the health and well-being of the teachers who play a vital role in serving a remarkable group of 187 children with disabilities. Ensuring a healthy teaching staff is crucial for maintaining consistent, high-quality education so that students get the support they need.

Working in collaboration with the Adventist Palawan Hospital, our Matahio Philippines team, together with our partners at THREE60 Energy, through the Puerto Princesa Special Needs Education (SNED) programme, arranged for the 16 teachers at the school to receive influenza and anti-tetanus vaccinations.
